Participants have decided to run or walk 26.2 miles, every week, in 2021! Now that’s a challenge – that’s Ray’s Marathon Challenge.
It’s a challenge both mentally and physically, with the feel-good factor of raising vital funds for the children and families who avail of our hospice services.

By taking part you will be part of this unique community of runners & walkers and we will support you all the way!

There are over 2,000 people signed up and if you raise €500 each, that would generate a whopping €1million for LauraLynn. Thank you all for joining this challenge!

A Message from Ray

As many of you know by now I am a long-standing supporter of LauraLynn Children’s Hospice and the amazing work that they do for families across the country. I am also a big fan of running and training for marathons and marrying the two together I came up with Ray’s Marathon Challenge!

I know if you’re like me, you’ve really missed the community feel of running a marathon and the motivation and strength that you get from feeling like you are part of something bigger and I think that is exactly what we have been able to create with this challenge, even if it is in the virtual world.

The new year is a perfect time to start this and challenge ourselves and I am so delighted that so many people have joined my team for this and have gotten behind it so happy running everyone!
